Traditions - Introduction
A tradition is something people do that is passed down from older generations to younger. Some traditions have to do with special holidays or events. There are many traditions connected with the US Flag. We learned about some of them:
- Rules about the flag (handling, folding, disposing of, etc.) - in addition to getting information from web sites, pamphlets, and videos, a local JROTC group from a nearby high school visited our school. They answered questions, and demonstrated how to fold the flag. (click here)
