Homepage remarks . . .

Some animals have unique relationships with people.

Seeing Eye guide dogs serve an important role in the independence of blind and visually impaired people. They are carefully bred, raised, chosen and trained to do a very special job.

4-H Clubs in the New Jersey area play a key role in preparing dogs for Seeing Eye training through a volunteer puppy raising program. Both the 4-H Clubs and The Seeing Eye are active in educating the public about Seeing Eye dogs.

We decided to investigate 'educational outreach' related to Seeing Eye dogs and experience some of it first hand.

Our findings are presented in the section called "Our Project", which is subdivided into 3 main areas:

  • Kathy Daly's Visit
  • 4-H Clubs
  • The Seeing Eye

We hope you enjoy visiting our Web site! Please check your learning through our online test.
